Acuvue Advance

Acuvue Oasys
"I was encouraged to switch to Oasys from Advance. I seem to get red eyes, irritation, blurring and what appeared to be an infection with excess mucus every time I left them in overnight or if I fell asleep for a brief period of time. It was important to take them out everynight. I tried a pair of the Advance that I had left over and the difference was immediate -- no irritation whatsoever and I could leave them in overnight without a problem." (Add comment).

I like the Acuvue Advance
"I’ve been wearing the Acuvue Advance for a few days now so I can have a direct comparison with the O2 Optix. After going through all of that and getting ready to switch to the O2 Optix, I have to admit that I like the Acuvue Advance significantly more than the O2 Optix (and the Acuvue Oasys). I can wear the Acuvue Advance all day, even up to 14 hours straight, and not have my eye feel dry.
I’ll still try out the other lenses, especially since on commenter suggested I try the Air Optix Aqua, but right now, the Acuvue Advance has jumped up to the top of the list." (Add a comment)

Absolutely amazing
"I absolutely love this product. When I first started using contact lenses, my eyes would get dry, and it felt like I always had sand in my eyes, even when I wasn't wearing any contacts! My doctor said that I had an allergic reaction to the contacts that caused bumps to form on the inside of my eyelids. He switched me to Acuve Advance with Hydraclear and the problem disappered almost immediately. I've been using thes contacts for years, and they have never failed me." (Add a comment)

"For many years, I’ve worn corrective lenses, and ever since I started using contact lenses, I’ve worn disposable ones. I’d been happy for a long time with various brands lasting a month or so, until my eye doctor told me to try Acuvue Advance.
He told me they were made out of a revolutionary new material, one that breathed better, could be worn overnight, and would last a much longer time. I tried them on, and instantly discovered that they felt great, more comfortable than any I’d ever tried: in the past, I’d had problems with occasional irritability, cloudiness, and dryness, but with these lenses, all those problems were a thing of the past.
Though I’m not in the habit of wearing my lenses overnight, I never worry about taking a nap in them. Whereas all other types of lenses I’ve tried leave my eyes feeling sticky and my vision unclear for several extremely uncomfortable minutes after sleeping, I now wake up with eyes feeling relatively fresh.
The best part? These lenses last a very, very long time. My current pair is on its fourth month, and it still feels great. I’m going to see how long they last, but so far, they’re not showing any signs of slowing down." (Add a comment)
