Conclusion:

Both lenses show very impressive technical parameters. As most Acuvue products these 2 toric lenses come with first class UV blocking and convenience features such as inside-out-mark and visibility tint.

However, the younger Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism provides some significant improvements over Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism. The much higher oxygen permeability of Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism should provide patients with improved wearing comfort. In addition it shows a more flexible replacement schedule as patients can wear the lens up to 6 consecutive days and nights.

Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism comes with a lower price tag - typical online retail prices indicate that Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism is up to 15% cheaper than the toric Oasys.
