Acuvue-now.com, Oct. 14, 2008 Vistakon's flagship site www.acuvue.com got an entire refresh of its interface. More flash, a fresh new look and an entire new navigation system are the most noticeable changes. We had a look at the site and took some screen shots.
acuvue.com - Home page
acuvue.com - Who can wear contacts?
Navigation:The main (now vertical) navigation is split into 3 groups: Thinking, Buying, Wearing. The first section provides some useful information about contact lenses in general. What you need to know about contact lenses, myths and facts and what is different about Acuvue lenses. The 'Buying' section provides rebate information and an eye doctor locator tool. In the 'Wearing' section consumers can find eye health information and lens wearing tips. Quick Links:A new tool is showing up in the right hand corner, called 'Quick Links'. It launches an interesting application, which allows users to search for common FAQs. Videos:Some short clips were added, featuring tips around lens care and lens application. AJAX:In addition the site utilizes AJAX technology for features such as the Free Trial Pair Request Tool and the Rebate Form (However there were a few minor issues using Firefox). acuvue.com - Product section
 acuvue.com - Find a doctor
Overall great job - even though the new acuvue site takes a while to load (15 secs for the home page using ADSL). But the site pleases with great imagery, a fresh design and a navigation system that - let's say - is 'just different'. Source: www.acuvue-now.com
