The June numbers are out, so we compiled another list with the top online retailers, specializing on selling contact lenses and vision care accessories online (As before these numbers are based on the latest published numbers from Quantcast). Good news for the retailers on the list: Overall traffic decreased only by 1% compared to the previous month. Last month we were seeing a 17% decrease, so the down-trend has stopped (at least for this month) - most likely as a result of the many promotions that retailers have been running.
The list: No change at the top. The top 5 retailers account for more than 85% of all online visits. Aclens.com has been showing the highest traffic increase out of the top 5 retailers and is closing in on lens.com's traffic numbers. Bestcontacts.com and 1-save-on-lenses.com gained 3 and 4 ranks whereas opticontacts.com couldn't repeat the good results in the previous month (12,000 visitors) and slipped down 3 ranks.
